Europe & the Mediterranean
We are asking God for a gospel movement among every least-reached people group — in our generation.
Once the global center of Christianity, the Europe & Mediterranean Region is now one of the least evangelized regions of the world.
- 31 of the 50 least religious nations in the world are located in this region
- Of the 52 nations in the Europe & Mediterranean region, 29 are less evangelized than North Korea
- “Unaffiliated” is the fastest-growing religious demographic in this region
Where the faith and outreach once thrived, Europe is now home to a population disillusioned with Christianity. The rise of secularism and recent repeated exposure of misconduct in major church sects have led to a drastic decrease in church attendance.
These trends can change. We are asking God for a gospel movement among every least-reached people group ― in our generation. Converge has more than 100 workers in this region trained in disciple making, leadership development and church strengthening. These workers come alongside local leaders to help train, equip and encourage them as they share the gospel amongst these least-reached people groups.
