Converge International Ministries operates within the bounds of Converge’s governing documents and policies, with all aspects of the ministry being in accordance with the Converge International Ministries’ Missional Framework. All Converge International Ministries Global Workers and Staff must adhere to each of these statements.

Our Missiological Distinctives – Why we are doing it: 

The following are the missiological distinctives that shape both how we equip, mobilize, and develop our staff and how we accomplish our mission. 

• We believe the mission of the local church is to glorify God among the nations by proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and establishing local churches of believers who worship God, obey Christ’s commands, and grow to maturity. 
• We believe the Bible is authoritative, sufficient, and relevant for our core missionary task, providing both the message and method for our mission. 
• We believe the gospel is the theological foundation for our leadership, organizational vision and ultimately shapes the stewardship of all our activities which requires us to equip staff to clearly understand, live and articulate the gospel. 
• We believe the primary means of obeying the Great Commission is through local churches that identify, train, send, and support qualified missionaries among the nations. 
• We believe that making disciples who start and strengthen healthy churches in least-reached communities is our priority. This requires the stewardship of identifying, training, and developing qualified, reproducing local leaders. 
• We believe our mission should be carried out through collaborative gospel partnerships with faithful Christians in a team context throughout the global church. 

Our Measures – When we are successful: 

We believe that our efforts should result in individuals saved, leaders deployed, churches started and strengthened. Activity without effectiveness dishonors God. With grace, understanding the uniqueness of each ministry setting, we will hold one another accountable for what we said we would achieve.
