IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

Ask your financial advisor to do the following:

  • Make the check payable to Converge
  • Include your name, address, email address, and phone number
  • Provide details of the ministry you are giving to (name and ID number)
  • State that the gift is a QCD from an IRA
  • If your financial institution plans to give through a WIRE/ACH, email donations@converge.org when processed

Donation Policy

Converge is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations in the United States are tax deductible in full or part. No goods or services were provided in consideration for the contributions except as reported above.

We strive to honor your gift designation. In circumstances where a ministry project is no longer available, we will use the funds similarly or as needed.

We protect the privacy of your name and will not share our mailing lists with outside organizations. Your gift to Converge may be reported as a tax-deductible contribution. Converge is included in the listing of non-profit organizations qualifying under the provisions of Internal Revenue Code, Section 170(b)(1)(A). Our Federal ID number is 36-2181949.

Converge is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) which serves as a monitoring agency to ensure that non-profit Christian ministries maintain the highest ethical standards. Voluntary ECFA membership requires full financial disclosure and the exercise of sound fundraising practices.
