Dear Prayer Friends,
During this month of Thanksgiving, I want to just take this moment to thank you again and let you know how much I appreciate your prayers and support – for all that you do for this ministry of ours in Bangkok, Thailand! You are a blessing to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
This month has been one of ongoing classes and opportunities to share about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ with the students in my level 3 class. I gave them a simple Plan of Salvation in English and Thai that I believe they understood, but for some reason, I think that they don’t understand yet how it applies to them. Please pray a lot for the students to really understand how lost they are without a Savior!
Good news! My student, Un, continues to come to cell group each Sunday. He seems to enjoy hearing about the Bible and singing the praise and worship songs. He stays afterward to eat with us and play a board game. Unfortunately, however, Mew, who I asked you to pray for in my last letter, has not returned to study at Santisuk due to a change in his work schedule. He has not come to cell group on Sunday mornings yet, either.
We are planning a Thanksgiving Day celebration with our students. We are praying that God will speak to their hearts as they see how much we desire to thank God for His goodness to us. We also want to teach them a little about this American tradition.
Please pray for:
- God to work in the hearts of all our students and may they open their hearts to God
- Ways to be a blessing in our students’ lives
- Un’s salvation
- My Thai studies as I prepare for the Thai Competency Exam on November 26.
