| Hello from Washington! We are back in Washington State, at least for now. We had a wonderful time at our training in North Carolina where we met some really awesome people. It was fun to be in such a big group of people who are doing the same things as us. Everyone there has sold their house or turned it over to renters, moved in with parents, quit their jobs, downsized their possessions, etc. all in the last few months.
The training we received was top notch, we feel much more prepared for our cross-cultural experience than we did before. We are excited to get to Thailand so we can start using what we have learned! We got home in the beginning of September and had a giant sale and God blessed it tremendously. God brought in more for our stuff than we had hoped and a lot of generous people added their own stuff to our sale which provided a good boost. We feel so blessed by God and our community.
On the 19th we took a trip to Wyoming and Colorado. The trip was great, we had the opportunity to share with six churches as well as visit with two valuable partners in the area. Neither of us had been in the area before so It was fun to see another part of this beautiful country that God has created. We stayed with some wonderful people on our trip and one house we stayed at was on the Oregon trail!
Next up for us is a trip to the Twin Cities area. We will be leaving on October 17th. We plan to visit one of our partner churches and hopefully we can connect with some new ones.
Because of Covid Thailand is not currently open for foreigners. Our prayer is that this will change before the last of our funding is in place.
