Ministry Update

Despite COVID beginning to ramp-up again in Zambia, training has been able to continue at Nyangombe. Trainees were recently asked to help repair a water wheel used to generate power at the nearby Sakeji Mission School. After many hours of cutting away worn, rusted parts, they were able to successfully remove the damaged main shaft. After being sent 300 miles away for repairs, they were able to reinstall it and return the 68 year-old water wheel to full function.

We are constantly amazed at the ingenuity and dedication of the trainees and staff of Nyangombe. The training provided truly makes an impact in the lives of the trainees, allowing the opportunity to learn and use skills to provide for their families. More importantly, those that come to Nyangombe for training are also attending Bible classes, through which many have come to know the Lord. Some trainees have even gone back to their home villages to start churches, and later return to Nyangombe solely to attend their Bible school as church leaders. We can’t wait to get to Zambia and be a part of this wonderful mission!
