When Life Takes a Turn

About a month and a half before I arrived on-field, my team leader told me we would no longer be partnering with the local fellowship they have been working with for the past several years. It was an unexpected turn in my journey, but it’s one the Father has used to conform me into the image of His Son. We have moved to a new city and have partnered with a new fellowship. I cannot begin to express my excitement for what is to come. Through partnership with this fellowship, we have been able to expand our vision to the entire southern part of the country.

Fortunately, I have been able to keep my same Arabic tutor, which is awesome! She is amazing, funny, and incredibly patient with me. I take the bus down there three days a week, and it’s a true answer to prayer that I am able to continue my studies with her even though I have moved. I am learning to celebrate the small victories in my language learning. This past week, I was able to tell the taxi driver where I wanted to go without getting a strange look. Progress!
