It’s Cloudy in Cambodia

It’s monsoon season this time of year in Southeast Asia. The clouds and rain roll in every day and stick around for months. Then leave just in time for Christmas and the New Year. But, I am not referring to the weather!

 

 

Covenant Mission Seminary Cambodia

 

In the middle of July while I was still working a secular job to care for our family, the Lord was working. On the same day that I believed the Lord was calling me to return to our full-time status in mission ministry through a series of extraordinary events, the Lord was also working in Cambodia. On July 18, a series of events began which resulted in the creation of Covenant Mission Seminary under the leadership of Missionary Rev. Roger Kim. 

Who knows what God is up to?

I’ve stopped trying to figure out God’s Will for the future and am just focused on the present. Some wise man told us to do that (Matthew 6:33-34). We don’t know what the long-term connection will be with Covenant Mission Seminary. The monsoons come and go regularly. I suspect there will be a fruitful future in Cambodia. Pun intended! But, we leave it in God’s hands. 

Equipping 11 Students

For now, he is using us to equip 11 students from multiple southeast Asian countries in understanding the big vision of the New Testament… 

The Gospel & the Centrality of Christ, Lord over all things, head of the church, God with us, & his Spirit in us.
