God is Greater than Your Biggest Fear

Hi!

January is an important time for our Initiative. Togo and Benin are considered to be the birthplace of Voodoo for the world. In 1998, Benin’s president declared that January 10 will be National Voodoo Day. During this event people from all over the world come to darken their black magic. Without the knowledge of Christ and the experience of His love, worship is not full of life and hope as we know it. We are asking God for a Gospel movement among entire people groups that have not heard of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, which is why we seek to do ministry there. This year the festival has been extended to start January 3 and end on January 13th as well as feature a special group from Haiti. We are asking that you please pray with us on January 10; our team and many other churches and individuals will be praying during a 12 hour prayer period. Pray that the light of Christ will burst thought the darkness in this stronghold of Satan.

We desire for families to partner with us to send us to Togo by February (TWO months!). Right now it looks like we are at 87% of the monthly partners that are needed for ministry life among the Gen & Watchi people where we will get to train and equip locals with the Gospel and trade skills like welding. Who is going to fill the need that remains?

Would you pray with us for connections with new people to share about Togo, partners to join us, and needs that we have so that we can move to Togo?

Better Together,
Blake & Kristen Harwood
