Hi friend!
Much has changed for us, for our community, and around the world in this past month. We’re betting it has sent you for a little whirl with the limited places you can visit, extra health precautions taken, and perhaps more time spent at home. We ourselves are staying with family in NC waiting for God’s divine timing to send us to Togo. One of the best things about this past month has been connecting with others online.
Our home church, as well as so many others, have been able to stream services online. The small group that we’ve been a part of has started to meet online. And we’re seeing so many opportunities to connect with others through the platforms available. Praise the Lord for the unique ways in which we can learn, grow, and love during this time. Yet we know that not everyone has it this way. Our brothers and sisters in Togo aren’t able to gather together under one roof to worship through song and fellowship and teaching either. And they don’t have the equipment to video the teaching of their church leaders for computers to stream around the city. There’s no easy access to modern conveniences we may have. Yet we have this hope that is found in Jesus. That is the greatest news to proclaim.
So we pray for the church body in Togo, here in the U.S., around the world that it would be strengthened and that many would be renewed and comforted with the goodness of Jesus Christ. We know many may have anxiety about the unknown so please let us know how we can continue to specifically pray for you. We are so excited to be walking through this life with you, led by Christ and we want all to know Him.
