May 2026 Presidential Greeting

John K. Jenkins, Sr.
President, Converge

I greet you today in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you’re doing well. It is with great joy that I speak to you today.

To you pastors and leaders, I wanna say a word to you. I know God is using you in a powerful way, and as we continue to reflect on Converge’s core values, this month, I want to talk about being relationally devoted. This value speaks to how we love, how we partner, how we walk together as the Body of Christ. From the beginning, Converge has been a movement of independent churches choosing collaboration over isolation. We believe relationships matter. We believe ministry is better when it is shared. Being relationally devoted looks like pastors encouraging one another, churches supporting one another, in seasons of challenge, especially. Leaders choosing charity and humility when differences arise, we hold tightly to the essentials of our faith while extending grace in non-essentials. This value reflects the heart of Christ. He calls us to love one another as He has loved us. That love becomes a witness to the world.

Pastor, if ministry feels lonely right now, I want you to know you are not alone. You are part of a family that values you, prays for you, walks alongside you, reaches out, stays connected because we are better together. I hope you are looking ahead to the Converge Together Conference this June. It will be a meaningful time to strengthen relationships and be reminded of the shared calling we have. May the love of Christ surround you, encourage your heart, refresh your soul as you lead the people of God.
