Praise the Lord, Converge family. Grace and peace to each of you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am so thankful and grateful for you and for your faithfulness that you bring to the Converge Church and to the communities that you’re serving. This year, I’m spending time walking us through Converge’s core values because these core values shape who we are. They’re not just words on a page. They are living convictions, things that we live, that we are convicted by, that guide how we lead, how we serve, and how we follow Jesus together. Each month we are focusing on one value. Today, I wanna begin with this one that we are, here it is, spiritually dynamic. To be spiritually dynamic means we glorify God in all that we do. It means that we trust the authority of God’s word, the sufficiency of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. It means that prayer is not a last resort. It’s our first response to any crisis that we face. This shows up in real ways. It looks like pastors opening up scripture week after week, believing it still changes lives. It looks like churches gathering to pray before decisions are made, trusting God to provide leadership. It looks like leaders, depending on the Spirit rather than their own strength, especially when ministry feels heavy. From our earliest days as Bible readers, we have believed that scriptures form us. Jesus saves us, and the Spirit empowers us. That has not changed. This is who we are. Brother pastor, if you’re tired, I want to encourage you, you’re not carrying this burden of ministry alone. The same Spirit who called you is sustaining you. I wanna tell you to remain rooted. Keep praying, keep trusting. God is at work even when you cannot see it. As a reminder, I hope you are planning to join us at the Converge Together Conference this June 23rd through 25th. It will be a meaningful time to reconnect, be refreshed, and celebrate what God is doing among us. May the Lord give you strength.
