Hello, Converge family.

Greetings to all of you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we think about our movement, we think about the Swedish missionaries who started it all, and as we think about today and as we get close to celebrating 170 years of seeing lives changed by the gospel, we are truly better together, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating without everyone coming together.

We are so grateful for who you are and what you do to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus Christ. And that’s why we all agree, our board, our regional presidents, and myself, that it’s time for a gathering of our entire family, not just church leaders in the US, but our global workers as well. Converge Together 2026 is a historic gathering to celebrate 170 years of mission together. We’re so excited to be hosting you in Washington, D.C., June 23rd through the 25th. Write that down. June 23rd through 25th at the church where I pastor, First Baptist Church of Glenarden.

It’s going to be a beautiful and powerful time. Besides celebrating our history, we’ll worship together, we’ll hear stories of life change from across our movement, and enjoy peer-to-peer environments for connecting and learning. Additionally, this event is for the whole family. We’ll provide programming for children and offer organized family excursions to the historic sites in our nation’s capital. Whether you’ve been part of Converge in the past or are a part of Converge now, or are thinking about how Converge can help your church or ministry for the future, I want to invite you to join us and celebrate.
