Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) is a young, diverse and resource-rich nation. Many Christians reside there, but religions such as Islam are prominent and growing in popularity, and many thousands of people are steeped in animism, worshiping natural objects of phenomena. Most people there know little or nothing about Jesus’ saving grace.

There are multiple opportunities to participate in as an [IM]PACT intern. The current opportunities to join the Côte d’Ivoire [Ivory Coast] Initiative in their efforts to share Jesus’ saving grace include:

  1. Couples whose husband will teach the Bible/Theology and be involved in leadership training of nationals, while the wife assists in Mandé-Dyula women and girls’ empowerment projects.
  2. Female social or mental health workers interested in serving among victimized women and girls at the Hope Cottage Center (HCC), run by a partner organization in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
  3. Pediatric Ophthalmologists to serve at Converge’s Health Center in Abidjan.
