John and Elaine Mehn served as Converge field missionaries in Japan for 35 years. Their primary ministry was cross-cultural church planting, direct evangelism and outreach, mobilization and equipping for church planting, leadership development and spiritual renewal mentoring. John was the director of the JEMA Church Planting Institute. Since 2020 they relocated to the US where John now serves the Converge Asia Impact Team. This team equips Asian local leaders to start gospel movements among Unreached People Groups. John and Elaine are both trainers, authors and speakers. They live in Northern Illinois near their two children and two grandchildren.
