As International Leader for Asia, I actively work toward a gospel movement among the least-reached peoples of Asia. By laying strong foundations for global workers, building bridges with national partners and opening doors to new areas of work we reinforce sustainable Kingdom impact. I pursue this in the following ways:
Identifying, recruiting and guiding high level, quality leaders
Creating opportunities for broader ministry impact
Observing, mapping and expressing common ground that Jesus followers can act on as they participate in the work of the gospel
International Leader: Asia // Three out of five people in the world live in Asia. The vast majority have never heard of Jesus.

The North Bank Baptist Christian Association (NBBCA) is moving their headquarters to the grounds of the hospital in Tezpur, Assam. This relocation will allow for greater access to the varied ministries of the NBBCA, and perhaps most importantly create a platform for greater financial self-sufficiency. A portion of the new buildings will be devoted to lodging for families of patients, creating both an opportunity for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and developing financial resources.
Each year Converge Worldwide funds a modest portion of the North Bank Baptist Christian Association budget. Our help contributes toward a wide spectrum of fruitful ministries: evangelism, church planting, Christian education, leadership training, literature printing and distribution, literacy training, and medical ministry
This project is a free literacy program in Kandal Province which teaches children in two villages to read and write. Study materials developed by the Bible Society of Cambodia are used for instruction. The children learn to sing songs, to pray and to honor and respect others. All necessary classroom materials (books, paper, pencils, etc.) are supplied. Students are taught to be prosperous, healthy, respectful and productive members of Cambodia's future. The project cooperates with local villages and churches to set up each community classroom.
A people group is considered unreached when there are essentially no Christians or churches within their people group. Unreached people are unable to ever hear about Christ due to the large barriers of language and culture. Approximately 30% of the world's population is considered unreached, and there may be around 8000 unreached people groups. Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists make up the largest blocks of unreached peoples. India has the most unreached people groups of any nation, and unreached people groups in India are some of the largest on earth. Converge missionaries and partner churches are actively engaged in bringing the gospel to the unreached. For more information, contact email@example.com.
The Baptist Christian Hospital (BCH) in Tezpur has an excellent reputation for quality care in the name of Christ. Through careful management, the hospital earns a profit while helping people of very low income. A School of Nursing also run by the BCH has attracted many students. However, resources to manage the costs of low-income students have been insufficient. This scholarship will assist up to five students per year.
