Andrea's first foray into cross-cultural ministry was a short-term trip to visit global workers who were supported by her home church and serving the Father in Thailand in 2012. Even after coming back to the US, the impacts of those 10 days in Thailand permanently set Southeast Asia on her heart. After graduating from college in 2014, Andrea returned to the region as an English teacher. What was supposed to be a gap year before starting a "real job" turned into 4 amazing years of serving and learning. And while ESL never was her passion, the Father used that time to show her that working and growing alongside brothers and sisters from all nations definitely was. Andrea is so excited to have received a call to return to the Land of Smiles with Converge IM to start and strengthen churches in the northeast and beyond!
