Japan Initiative Projects

A project is one piece of a larger initiative. It has a defined focus, with goals to accomplish an end result. Some projects are short term in nature; others may last for many years. You can read more about projects within this initiative, including how you can be involved.

Japan Initiative Global Workers

Converge missionaries are helping to start and strengthen churches together worldwide so people across the globe can meet, know and follow Jesus. Meet our missionaries and learn how you can become a key partner in accomplishing God’s mission by supporting them as they give others the opportunity to accept Jesus.

Get involved

When it comes to global missions work, a team will always accomplish more than an individual. To make a greater impact than it could on its own, your church can be a part of a network of churches, called a church partnership, to share in the work of the Great Commission.

What does a church partnership do?

  • Joins with Converge missionaries to undertake missionary efforts beyond the resources of any one member.
  • Promotes intercessory prayer for the initiative and its missionaries.
  • Deploys resources to assist the initiative and its global workers in ministry.

The partnership is led by a team of high-capacity leaders who work in close collaboration with the Japan initiative leaders and our project teams.
