Story
Ken was born and raised in the Chicago area. He studied at Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College Graduate School. After working for First Baptist of Geneva, Illinois, for eight years as the pastor for university students, he and his wife, Emmy, relocated to Oceanside, California, where he continued to pastor university students at New Song Community Church.
In 2013 Ken and Emmy moved to Liverpool, England, to explore church planting and long-term ministry in Europe. It was while serving on the staff at Christ Church Liverpool that the idea for the Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3) was born. After a year of serving at Christ Church Liverpool as a volunteer pastor, the church hired Ken as co-pastor and simultaneously commissioned him to launch AT3.
Ken now serves as co-pastor of Christ Church Liverpool and executive director of AT3. Ken also serves as a board member for three ministries in the U.K.: City to City UK, The North West Partnership and North West Church Resources.

Our greatest privilege is joining Jesus in what he is building: his church. When we reach across the street and around the world with the gospel—locally and globally—we impact lives for eternity.
