Story
God sparked in me a love for missions at a church missions conference when I was 12. The next year, through my brother's murder, I was reminded that life is short, there's an urgency about the gospel, and it confirmed my desire to be involved in his global mission. Six months later God called me to serve him in Mexico. I studied Spanish, took several family and mission trips to Mexico, and through each trip, my love for Mexico and burden for their salvation grew. I graduated with a master's degree in Spanish and taught Spanish for over 16 years in colleges and universities while being involved in summer missions. I graduated with a M.A. in theological studies from Bethel Seminary.
After several years, God led me to make missions a full-time commitment, and in 2001 I was commissioned with the BGC (Converge) and in 2004 I arrived on the field.
I have been part of the leadership team of a new church plant, Factor Fe campus sur, to spark a passion for evangelism. I also have taught at the Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary to develop and mentor leaders in ministry. I have helped teach a weekly women's Bible study to disciple new believers, mentor women and help the evangelism team reach the lost in their community. I look forward to going back to continue sharing the gospel and raising up leaders to impact this least-reached region with the gospel so that many would meet, know and follow Christ for the glory of God.

Our greatest privilege is joining Jesus in what he is building: his church. When we reach across the street and around the world with the gospel—locally and globally—we impact lives for eternity.
