From a young age, the Lord has laid the nations on my heart. In middle school, I attended a church camp where I felt His call to ministry. As I got closer to college, I pursued both university opportunities and programs such as YWAM. Ultimately, the Lord led me to Liberty University, where I began pursuing a degree in Christian Studies.
During my first semester, I took a Global Studies class where the Lord continued to magnify His heart for the nations and burdened my heart to go. Soon after, I was presented with the opportunity to spend the summer in Europe with Greater Europe Mission. As I prayed over this opportunity, I felt such peace in giving God my full yes. Not only did the Lord continue opening doors for me to serve with Greater Europe Mission, but He also led me to switch my major to Global Studies. Through these classes, He has expanded my understanding of culture and given me an even greater desire to learn.
In saying yes to the Lord, I have felt Him asking me to be willing to go unless He says stay. It brings me such joy to have the opportunity to take part in what He is doing in Szczecin, Poland. During my time there, I will partner with global workers through their café, church, and youth ministries. There is such an openness among the younger generation, and they are in need of people willing to walk alongside and encourage them. I will also have the opportunity to sit with those who are curious, seeking answers, and longing for sincere, gospel-centered conversations. I am filled with excitement and expectancy for what the Lord is going to do, and I look forward to all He will do between now and then.
