Over the last two years, the Lord has been steadily drawing me out of my comfort zone and into greater obedience when it comes to sharing the Gospel and reflecting His love to those around me. What began as intentional conversations with roommates grew into leadership within college ministry and has now expanded into an opportunity to serve across the world in Japan. Through each step, God has been shaping my heart and giving me a deeper burden for people to encounter the life-changing love of Christ. Not only the life that He lived, but the death He died in our place, and the eternal life that is offered only through Him.
My hope and prayer is that through this internship, I can better understand and faithfully live out the call Jesus gives us to go and make disciples of all nations. I strongly believe that the Gospel came to me on its way to someone else, and that obedience to that calling matters far beyond my own life.
During this internship, I will be assisting in the work that churches in Japan have already begun by participating in outreach, building relationships, and partnering with other missionaries through prayer and service. My deepest hope is that Jesus would be known throughout the nations and that Japan would no longer remain unreached. This can only happen through the work of the Holy Spirit, obedience, and faithful giving. I am incredibly grateful and blessed to be a part of what God is doing.
