The focus of this work is long-term impact on the lives of others. Sometimes that impact comes through sharing knowledge, wisdom, or insight that helps someone grow. Other times, it comes through simple acts of service and the willingness to do the quiet, laborious work that often goes unseen. Much of what we do may not produce immediate results, and that is okay. I am learning to value the kind of work that is like planting trees under whose shade we may never sit. This experience is not ultimately about me or what I accomplish, but about the people I will encounter and invest in. My hope is that through faithful presence, steady service, and genuine care, seeds will be planted that continue to grow long after I am gone. Impact is inevitable.

My calling to global work grew out of the way God reshaped my understanding of leadership. For years, I chased influence for what it could give me, but God kept drawing me into something deeper. He showed me that leadership is not about elevating myself but about helping people encounter Him in a real way. Over time, God gave me a burden specifically for leaders who carry influence but often carry quiet spiritual emptiness or confusion. That burden eventually grew into a desire to serve in a global context, which is what led me to Japan. My heart is to come alongside people, walk with them through their questions, and help them discover a genuine and relational faith in Jesus.

In Japan, my effort will involve a mix of discipleship, serving local churches, and stepping into weekend outreach events. Most ministry happens from Friday to Sunday, when we will partner with different churches, support services, and help lead events that introduce people to the gospel. During the week, my time will be spent preparing for ministry, praying, reflecting, exploring the culture, and intentionally building relationships with people I meet. There will also be weekly team gatherings with our missionary hosts for dinner, debriefing, and prayer. These rhythms create space not only to serve but also to grow in listening to God and discerning His direction.

My goal in Japan is simple: to be faithful to God’s call by loving people well, pointing them toward Jesus, and allowing God to stretch and shape me in the process. I want to explore the gifts He has given me, step into new challenges, and be available for whatever opportunities He opens. I hope that through this experience, God will deepen my calling to missions and expand my heart for His work around the world.

Giving financially is not ultimately about money, but about partnership in the work that will be done. It is not transactional. It is a shared commitment among people willing to serve in different ways. Some are able to go, while others make that going possible through their support. Those who give become active partners in work that may not be feasible for them to carry out personally, yet is still deeply connected to their investment and faith. The impact of this work will not come through me alone, but through us together. In that sense, every gift is a seed planted into the lives of others, trusting that growth will come over time and that the fruit of that investment will extend far beyond what any one person could accomplish on their own. To make this opportunity possible, I am working to raise $7,500 by June 29th, and I am grateful for every partner who chooses to be part of this work, whether through prayer or financial support.

Your support means the world to me, thank you!
