Throughout my life, I have prayed many times, “Here I am; send me.” Last summer, while on a missions trip, I was approached by the director of that organization. He asked me to pray about an opportunity to join his staff. Over the following couple of months, I asked God to show me what steps to take and what I should pursue. It became increasingly apparent that this was where I was being called to serve. I was being sent.
I pray, and please join me in this request, that God would use me as a conduit of His blessing to others. That I would not elevate myself, but instead point to Jesus—the One who welcomes the stranger, restores the broken, and gathers all nations into His family.
