Hi! My name is Sara Smith, and Cross-Cultural Ministry is my calling! The call to missions has been on my heart since I was as young as 14. However, as I continued my high school years, I had several internal and external voices telling me this wasn’t a realistic commitment to make. But as I completed my high school education and continued on to University, I still felt that tug on my heart. After serving my first mission abroad in Finland and Estonia, I was able to discern a clear call from God: to go into the nations and make disciples. I didn’t know the exact path God had for me, but I knew that my work was not done in that area of the world. Since then, I have returned to that region and made many relationships that God is working wonders through! With much prayer and spiritual guidance, I radically changed my life to pursue long-term Missions work in the Nordic-Baltic area. This involved transferring universities, moving across states, and totally uprooting the life I had previously planned for myself. 
My current ministry goal is to continue to serve in these countries and eventually serve in these ministries long-term through residency. I am so excited to build upon my previous relationships I have formed in this region and continue to create more as I serve the existing ministries in the area! I will be supporting the current missionaries through camp ministries, food ministries, and much more! I love to see what God is doing in the Nordic-Baltic and cannot wait to continue serving this mission!
