Story

I became a believer when I was 19 years old, attending a church where I was a security guard, but it wasn’t until later that I fully understood the Gospel message and how to know I was saved truly. I’m 22 now, and in these 3 years, I’ve been very lost on where the Lord wanted me to be; in all honesty, I’m still unsure, but it feels as though the Lord has been nudging me in the direction of mission work. So, I’m deciding to step out in faith and attend the Converge Japan internship.

I’ve been very comfortable in my faith, and I aim to get out of the comfort zone I’ve found myself in. I want to be useful to the Lord, helping lead people in the right direction, helping to spread the Gospel to the people who need to hear it, and praying that they truly believe it. As well as build good connections within the churches I’ll be serving. I want the Lord to use every aspect of me he can to expand his kingdom. I plan to find clarity on the calling the Lord has on my life; if the mission field is where I’m called, then I want to embrace the calling and be obedient to the will the Lord has for my life. I am expecting this Internship to change me for the better.
