Story

My name is Ally, and I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Christian Studies with a minor in Business at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve gained valuable leadership and interpersonal skills as a Resident Assistant on campus. As well as interning as a Program Development Specialist for the College of Theology and Education. In this position, I give tours to prospective students and their families, serving as their first introduction to the GCU experience and campus culture. It’s rewarding to help them explore the loving and supportive culture of GCU. I also love to engage in outdoor activities like hiking and backpacking, as well as simply taking time to relax. I have a VERY basic understanding of German, and I enjoy crocheting as a creative outlet. Balancing my studies, work, and personal interests keeps me energized and motivated.

The Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3) aims to mobilize leaders by helping them plant, lead, and revitalize churches across the UK. AT3 was launched in September 2015 in response to the decline of the evangelical presence in the UK. This initiative opened doors for those seeking ministry opportunities and experience, allowing them to grow and help spread the gospel in a post-Christian context. I will be joining AT3 as a Summer Intern in 2025, and I hope through this program to learn how to spread the gospel in a cross-cultural context. The Great Commission instructs us in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” We are called to spread the gospel, and I know this mission is not exclusive to America but extends across the entire world. This is why I am drawn to AT3. I love what they stand for, and I want to be part of this movement.
