Oliver & Karissa Haumann
Global Worker
Help Oliver and Karissa plant churches among the unreached and minister to people’s physical needs.

Story
Oliver and Karissa are a German-American couple serving with Converge in Germany. They have worked in ministry in Cameroon since 2003. Oliver established two physical therapy departments at different health facilities in Cameroon and Karissa led and trained the staff of a Christian radio station.
In 2021, God led them to settle in Oliver’s home country of Germany. Oliver is the Educational Advisor for a 4-year Bachelor’s program in Physical Therapy in Cameroon. Oliver does most of his work remotely with regular trips to Cameroon to supervise the work. He enjoys having the opportunity of training young Cameroonians to not only become Physical therapists, but missionaries themselves in the many unreached regions of Cameroon. After 14 years of discipleship ministry and missions, Karissa is now focusing on discipleship at home.
Location

Our greatest privilege is joining Jesus in what he is building: his church. When we reach across the street and around the world with the gospel—locally and globally—we impact lives for eternity. Oliver is training up the next generation of leaders in Cameroon and is also researching intercultural education in Cameroon.
