Story
The past five to six years, I have not only developed a Passion for Youth Ministries but also a desire to pursue Cross-Cultural Ministries. During the summer of 2019, I had the privilege of spending two months in England, where I served hands-on with a Church supporting them in any way they needed. Since being back in the U.S., I have felt the Lord calling me back to serve, learn, and grow in a post-Christian, Secular context.
I am currently in the midst of being partnered with a church and have decide to Pursue my Masters in Theology at The Union School of Theology.
The need is great not only in the United Kingdom, but the United States are rapidly following the Post-Christian and Secular movement. “Little more than 3% of the population as a whole are born-again believers who are meaningfully associated with a local church,” John Stevens, Knowing The Times 2017, p10. This need is one I desire to help serve in the UK Culture. I am so excited for this new challenge and season the Lord has called me into. I am eager to learn, grow, and serve in a setting and culture that will challenge me not only due to cultural differences but also in so many other ways I have yet to experience.
