Women’s and Children’s Outreach in Church Planting, Togo

Togo is an African country notable for its history as the birthplace of Voodoo. It boasts the world’s largest Voodoo market and is a central location for those seeking further study in black magic. I will be ministering in a place where the majority of people are bound by spiritual darkness and still have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel.

The opportunity to reach Togo’s young people with the gospel is abundant; 70% of the population is under 30 years old. I am joining a church planting team which focuses on nationally led, reproducing churches. Growing up in Togo from the age of two (my parents were missionaries) gave me a heart for marginalized and forgotten people. My desire is to help Togolese women and children find their value and worth in a relationship with Christ, and to help equip young leaders to reach and invest in their own people.
