Tania M.
Global Worker
Helping women to grow closer to God, discover their God-given potential and to develop in ministry in the local church both locally and internationally.
Story
In her mid-20s, as Tania deepened her love for the Lord and her understanding of Him, she discovered His calling for missions. Initially, Tania participated in short-term mission trips to Ukraine with her church, First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Over time, it became clear that God was leading her to serve there long-term. She dedicated eleven years to faithful service in Ukraine.
Throughout her tenure, Tania’s ministry roles evolved. She transitioned from teaching English weekly to organizing annual camps with teams from America. Her work included serving in local orphanages, ministering at orphan camps, and assisting ministry leaders in developing future visions for orphan care. Additionally, she engaged in youth ministry and focused discipleship for young women involved in the ministry.
In late 2019, Tania felt God’s call to return to the United States to serve as the Director of Mobilization. In this capacity, she continues to disciple the church, encouraging obedience to the call to global missions. She leads a team responsible for assessing and equipping interns for 6-8 week programs, as well as 2-year and long-term residents.
Location
Our greatest privilege is joining Jesus in what he is building: his church. When we reach across the street and around the world with the gospel—locally and globally—we impact lives for eternity.
