Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey Refugee Relief

JOIN CONVERGE IN REACHING SYRIAN REFUGEES IN LEBANON, NORTHERN IRAQ AND SOUTHERN TURKEY

Millions of Syrians, having fled the horrific violence in their homeland, find themselves temporarily displaced Lebanon, Kurdish-controlled areas of northern Iraq and southern Turkey. Fresh from the terrors of radical Islam and the Syrian civil war, they are highly responsive to the love and generosity of local Christians and an invitation to study the Bible.

Converge couple Mike and Samya Johnson are partnering with a Lebanese church and other ministries to provide food, blankets, diapers, milk and other necessities. As a result of the love of Lebanese Christians and the message of Middle Eastern evangelists, nearly all of the Syrian refugees welcome an invitation to study the Bible. "They easily accept Christ within two or three months," the Johnsons say. Many are then baptized and, when they depart to their destination country, the new Christian refugees start Bible studies and home churches there.

This presents a remarkable opportunity to reach Muslims in Europe and to connect them to other Christian fellowship in their desitination countries. Converge asks you to consider making a gift to continue and expand this effort.
