Church starting & strengthening conference
The world isn’t what it was meant to be. Not even close. How can we look around and not feel brokenhearted? Frustrated? Wrecked? Maintaining the status quo isn’t working. We’re losing ground. It’s time to unleash a church movement that changes the world. It’s time to take ground. Together. At the Converge Unleash conference, we’ll help you unleash the gospel by giving you strategies, tools and new ways to strengthen your church and plant healthy, life-giving churches that will impact generations for eternity.

Workshops // January 29

The Five Problems Every Church Has
John Alan Turner, Church coach and leadership consultant
Anytime you get people together you're going to have problems. People are messy and flawed. Get them together and they'll often bring out the worst in each other. No one knows this better than church leaders. But what if there really aren't that many problems out there? What if there are really only five problems a church (and, thus, a church leader) has to deal with? In this workshop, we'll break down the five big problems every church has and show you how to begin dealing with them.
Converge Chaplaincy
Carleton Birch, Converge Chaplain Endorser
An overview of Converge Chaplain Ministries including military, hospitals and prisons. Workshop will include current requirements, role of the home church and a chance to interact with current chaplains in the field.
Opportunities, Challenges & Models for Reaching a Multicultural and Multi-Generational Community
Walter Angelica, Iglesia Ciudad

Raising Up the Next Generation
Aaron Sorenson & Drew Johnson, Woodridge Church
How do you develop young leaders and work well with the millennial generation? These are just a few of the questions that will guide this practical workshop lead by two millennial leaders who will tell their stories of developing as leaders as well as how you develop the culture and values that support a strategy for developing young leaders.
How to Realize BIG Opportunities in Smaller Communities
John Anderson, Hope Community Church
Join us for this very practical workshop where we will discuss 6 core convictions that lead to big opportunities in your small community. Come and hear pragmatic tips on how to understand your culture, how to develop weekend worship, how to grow your lay-leader/staff team and how to take that next step of faith. Every community no matter the size matters to God. He is more than able to do BIG things in and through his church as we grow in our leadership of what He has given us.
