Lee Stephenson

Lee Stephenson, Executive Director of Church Planting

Lee earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in ministry from Bethel College (Mishawaka, Indiana). He has been in pastoral ministries since 1998. Lee and his wife Melissa started and led Harvest Community Church, Mesa, Arizona, from 2009 to 2015. He also served on the Vision Arizona church planting LEAD Team and is a go-to coach for church leadership and planting.

Lee and Melissa have two children, Aaron and Noel. His favorite book is Courageous Leadership, by Bill Hybels, and his hobbies include cycling and anything sports related.

Marlan Mincks


Marlan Mincks, Co-director of Converge Assessment Centers

Marlan is the lead pastor/planter of Ironridge Church in Waukon, Iowa. As the co-director of Converge Assessment Centers, he helps people find and clarify their next step in ministry.
He says he has too many hobbies and never has a problem finding something to do. A self-described adventurer, his greatest passion is to see those who do not know Christ come to meet him and find a transformed life in him.

Curt Gruber

Curt Gruber, Co-director of Converge Assessment Centers

Curt grew up Minnesota in a church planter’s home. He graduated from Bethel College and Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, and Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. He has served in churches in Minnesota, Colorado and California. Currently he leads Legacy Church, which he founded in 2008.
He and his wife have been married 38 years and have one son. His hobbies are ocean kayaking and binge-watching Netflix. His favorite book is The Authentic Witness, by C. Norman Kraus.







Terri Mincks

Terri Mincks, Administrator of Converge Assessment Centers

Terri is the administrative assistant for Converge Assessment Centers. She gathers information from candidates and answers questions about the application process.

She likes to make pottery and play bass. Her favorite book is Edge of Eternity, by Randy Alcorn.
