Essential Qualifications:

·       A believer in Jesus, who is an actively growing and maturing Godly person of integrity with a clear testimony of faith, and who models and mentors that to others.  Must be in full agreement with Grandview’s Statement of Faith.

·       Engaging personality with strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

·       Skilled in vocal and instrumental performance and direction along with some knowledge of media software.

·       Passionate for teaching the Bible, discipling, and building relationships with students in a positive, energetic and fun-filled manner

·       Desirous and willing to work as part of a staff team under the direct leadership of the senior pastor and/or his designee.

·       Prior involvement in church ministry.

 Key WORSHIP Responsibilities:

·       Plan and lead the Sunday Worship Service(s)

·       Develop a weekly playlist of songs

·       Recruit, develop and disciple a volunteer Worship Team to assist in leading the Worship Service.

·       Coordinate a weekly practice with musicians, vocalists, and the media teams.

·       Plan and lead occasional community worship events, as directed.

·       Plan and lead holiday, children’s and other special music events, as directed.

·       Attend staff meetings – Other duties, as assigned by the Senior Pastor and/or Elder Board

Key YOUTH Responsibilities:

·       Develop and oversee an effective youth program for grades 6-12 that reaches unsaved youth, disciples saved youth and provides service opportunities in appropriate ministry areas.

·       Recruit, train and shepherd adult volunteers that serve in the youth ministry who are trained to lead and staff the youth ministries, even outside of your presence.   

·       Work with volunteer staff to engage and build relationships with students, parents and volunteers.

·       Oversee all Youth Programming

·       Provide leadership and direction for major Youth Ministry environments: i.e. Sunday School and weekly youth gatherings

·       Plan and participate in weekly youth gatherings

·       Communicate regularly with parents.

·       Plan camps, trips, retreats or similar events. 

·       Attend staff meetings – Other duties, as assigned by the Senior Pastor and/or Elder Board.
