Lead Pastor

 What you’ll be doing: 

• Acting as the leader and shepherd of the staff and church. 
• Seeking God’s direction and developing His vision for the church in a way that maximizes the gifts and resources available. 
• Identifying and developing gifted women and men. 
• Directing the preaching, teaching, and discipleship ministries. 

What skills you need to have: 

• A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ is evidenced in daily life. 
• A passionate, heartfelt love for people with a Christ-like concern for their spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional well-being. 
• Be an excellent recruiter of gifted leaders and a strong encourager to all. 
• Have earned a Master’s of Divinity. 
• Excellent preacher and communicator of Scripture. 

Humboldt County is a rural farming community. Humboldt is the largest town in Humboldt County and is a relatively affluent city for its size compared to other rural communities. Their community is friendly, quiet, and safe. They are a charming community with a Midwestern work ethic and it is a family-friendly town with a lot of community spirit.
