New Covenant Bible Church is fully committed to helping people pursue God, pursue others and practice His ways. NCBC is a non-denominational church with a rich history of being known as a great church for families. They are looking for a High School Pastor/Director who is relational, gospel-centered, and skilled in developing leaders. They value someone who is vulnerable, systems minded and can effectively organize and implement engaging programs for high school students.

 

Specific Job Duties 

  • Supports the mission, vision and values of New Covenant by creating, developing, promoting and implementing the vision, strategies, methods and goals of High School Ministry
  • Represents High School Ministry on the Children and Student Ministry Team in an effective and collaborative manner ensuring cohesive ministry strategies and smooth transitions
  • Recruits, selects, equips, schedules, supervises and inspires staff and volunteers in order to accomplish the High School Ministry vision
  • Disciples others spiritually and as leaders in a creative and innovative manner which develops them to be effective in discipling others, with a focus on High School Ministry
  • Proposes and facilitates the administration of the annual budget for the High School Ministry
  • Participates in Children and Student Ministry Team meetings and other required staff events
  • Leads High School Ministry meetings. This includes having and accomplishing a clear purpose for meetings and conducting meetings in a respectful way
  • Evaluates, collaborates and assists in providing High School Ministry resources to team leaders, volunteers, members and attenders throughout the church
  • Evaluates annually the effectiveness of individual High School Ministry leaders and the High School Ministry area as a whole
  • Maintain ongoing volunteer training to help them continually improve
  • Regularly check in with direct reports and volunteers to build and maintain healthy relationships
  • Communicate with other staff members in a clear and timely manner concerning plans, facility needs and other items that might impact them or require their support
  • Support parents and caregivers by both providing effective resources to support them as they develop in their roles and by making the schedules, needs and goals for their students clear
  • Performs other duties as assigned
