The High School Coordinator at Prairie Lakes Church is more than a program leader- you are a primary spiritual influence in the lives of high school students at our Cedar Falls Campus. This role exists for someone who genuinely loves students, understands their world, and is passionate about helping them take real, meaningful steps in their faith.

As the lead for Wednesday night high school ministry, you’ll set the vision, shape the environment, and serve as the primary communicator. From teaching and programming to production and events, you’ll create experiences that are engaging, relevant, and all about helping student take steps in their faith while developing and celebrating a team of volunteers who make ministry thrive.

Partner with Parents for Greater Impact

We believe student ministry works best when the church and home move together. In this role, you’ll form intentional partnerships with parents- communicating clearly, encouraging consistently, and supporting them as they raise teenagers in a complex world. Your leadership will help families feel known, supported, and connected.

Lead Beyond the Church Walls

Ministry doesn’t stop on Wednesday nights. From retreats and camps to missions experiences and community involvement, you’ll plan and lead opportunities that help students live out their faith. You’ll also represent Prairie Lakes Church at school and community events, building trust and visibility where students already are.

As part of Prairie Lakes Church, you’ll serve within a healthy, mission-driven multi-site model that values collaboration, excellence, and spiritual health. You’ll manage ministry data, follow up with new students and families, and align everything you do with the mission and leadership of Prairie Lakes Church- knowing you’re supported, developed, and part of something bigger than one campus.

This position is posted as a Coordinator title, but Pastor title can be granted with PLC Elder Board approval
