Associate Pastor

Philosophy of Ministry
-We worship for an audience of one.
-We run by biblical conviction (Please see FCC Statement of Faith and the Elder Position Statements found at www.fccnr.org/about).
-A pastor is a general practitioner.
-What you win them with is what you win them to.
-Everyone submits to someone. (The Associate Pastor reports to the Lead Pastor)

Competency
-Emphasis: Discipleship and Assimilation
-Establish a discipleship pathway
-Coordinate Faith Training (i.e. Adult Sunday School)
-Coordinate small groups
-Select, equip and empower volunteers in ministry areas.
-Teach a Sunday School class
-Lead a small group
-Conduct pastoral counseling as needed
-Preach 20% (Subject to change)
-Pastoral visitations
-Funerals/Weddings as assigned
-Attend Deacon Meetings
-Oversee Missions Team
-Any further duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
