“Where two or three gather in my name...”
“We are asking God for a gospel movement among every least-reached people group—in our generation.”
This is bigger than us. Asking God for a gospel movement among every least-reached people group worldwide is a bold, audacious request on its own. But to ask that He do it in our generation? Only God’s power and the earnest prayers of His people can make those things happen, whether separate from one another or together. In faith, we are asking for a gospel movement and for God to send more workers.
And as we ask, we are also working toward that end through the power of the Holy Spirit. But prayer must precede and permeate a movement.
God’s presence is what makes prayer powerful. He says, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20 NIV). So, our global prayer networks come together to do the hard work of prayer and experience God’s presence.
Join people around the world in prayer
Global prayer networks are groups of people from across the world who typically meet virtually to pray for the missionaries, people, and specific needs of one of Converge International Ministries’ global initiatives. Each prayer network is led by the initiative prayer coordinator, who stays in contact with the missionaries on the field and then shares specific prayer requests with the prayer network group.
Please join us in prayer for people who have never heard the name of Jesus to have the chance to hear and accept the Good News. Sign up to participate in a global prayer network today.

How to start a prayer network
How to start a prayer network to mobilize prayer for the nations
1. Pray.
2. Ask a small group of faithful people you already know to join the prayer network.
3. Ask the global workers in the mission field to approach people they know about joining the prayer network.
4. Ask pastors who support the work to approach people they know about joining the prayer network.
5. Establish a regular meeting time, in person or virtually. We recommend meeting at least once per month.
6. Share weekly updates between meetings.
7. Keep track of prayer requests and answered prayers—and celebrate the answered ones!
8. Host virtual prayer walks a couple times per year or when special needs arise. How to conduct a virtual prayer walk
1. First, establish a prayer network—even if it is small.
2. Pray for the Spirit to confirm that it is time for a prayer walk. This is very helpful with a new ministry or a new prayer network, or in times of intense warfare.
3. Identify five to 10 locations the prayer network can visit or be shown images of that represent prayer strongholds or opportunities.
4. Select one faithful, seasoned person to pray for each location, and ask them to be ready to pray Scripture into that need.
5. Ask a core team to fast and pray.
6. Choose a tech-savvy person to run the call so there are no technical distractions.
7. Decide with your missionary partners whether the call may be recorded.
8. Recruit people to join the virtual prayer walk by letting everyone know they will not be called on to pray aloud; they only need to agree to pray. Present the walk as an opportunity to not just support the workers and make a spiritual impact but also grow in one’s own prayer life.
9. Send the meeting invitation to only vetted people. For security purposes, do not allow it to be re-shared.One other way to mobilize people to pray
Consider using a monthly prayer calendar that prompts you to pray for one person each day. Ask your prayer network to do the same.
