Transcript

Greetings to you, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Converge family. I am grateful for you and for the faithfulness you bring to the work God has entrusted to you. Just yesterday we celebrated Resurrection Sunday. We remembered again that the tomb is empty, that Jesus is alive, and that His victory over sin and death changes everything. The resurrection is not just something we celebrate once a year. It is the foundation of our hope and the fuel for our mission. As we continue walking through our core values together, this month, we are focusing on what it means to be missionally driven. Because Jesus lives, we are sent, we start churches, we strengthen churches. We send missionaries to the unreached, so that lives may be changed by Christ, person by person worldwide. Being missionally driven means we refuse to keep the good news to ourselves. It looks like pastors faithfully preaching the Gospel, week after week. It’s churches planting new congregations in places where hope is needed. It’s leaders discipling others and sending them out, trusting God with the results. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in and through your ministry today. To every pastor, I want you to know that I know the days following Easter can feel full and even exhausting, but be encouraged. Your labor is not in vain. God is using your faithfulness to bring life where there was once death. And remember, I hope you are making plans to join us at the Converge Together Conference this June. It will be a meaningful time to gather, be refreshed, and celebrate the mission we share. May the hope of the risen Christ strengthen you, renew your calling, and fill you with joy as you continue the work he has given you. God bless each other and every one of you.
