Mannah and I met in 2020. We studied at a missions training center and got married on October 30, 2021. After training for two years at the training center, the Lord helped us raise funds to travel to Bolivia to intern under veteran missionaries to conclude our training. During our 6-month internship in Bolivia, Mannah and I prayed about where to take our next steps.

Choosing the right mission board for us took us yielding to His leadership. This led to us attending the MD&A in November with Converge and receiving the green light to take more next steps. Choosing a mission field was bittersweet because there is a need for a gospel movement in many places. After investing time in prayer, zoom meetings and research the Lord gave us peace to choose Sweden as our mission field. We’re super excited to see what God has planned. We have an amazing team and support system to help us in every way. Converge has made us feel like family, and they have shown it through their actions.

While in Sweden, we will have many goals and responsibilities. During the first 1.5 years on the field, learning the language will be the main ministry priority. This will include formal language learning through enrollment in courses or work with a tutor or language helper. We will apply what we learn in everyday life, such as conversations, church services, conducting business, and buying groceries. We will Identify and develop strategies for reaching new communities in Sweden. We plan to engage in ministry within the SOS Church in Västerås and/or New Life in Stockholm. We will also be serving and equipping Swedish partnership churches and ministry leaders to effectively engage in the Great Commission and planting churches is our long-term goal.
