Story

Hello Friends and Family,

This is Caleb Allard. I am from Northern Wisconsin, specifically from a small town no larger than the amount of fingers on your hands (about 1,000 citizens). I am adopted from Ethiopia and was placed into a Christian Home. There the Lord was gracious and allowed my heart to gradually have a calling for ministry. Thus, I am now at Moody Bible Institute, a school equipping students for ministry. I am currently a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Youth Ministry and Interdisciplinary in Theology.

As a result, I have been accepted onto an internship program in the UK with the Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (or AT3). This organization desires to see thriving churches especially in a post-Christian world. How do they do this? By equipping younger generations and adults to be leaders, missionaries, and pastors specifically in the UK. In this regard, next summer, whilst living with a host family, I will serve in a local church and receive specific ministry training in either children and youth or evangelism. During the internship I will also participate in a short term mission trip to a country in Europe. I truly desire to pursue this internship to spread the gospel and attain wisdom for the mission field as I have an ambition to be involved in missions in my lifetime.
