Story
My call to missions began in an unexpected and deeply personal way: through Japanese anime shows and movies that I watched as a child and continue to appreciate today. I remember that these stories portrayed emotions such as despair, loneliness, pain, determination, joy, hope, love and peace. Over time, God used these narratives to reveal Himself to me and ignite a passion for the Japanese people behind the stories. While the characters are fictional, their struggles reflect the real-life challenges faced by the Japanese people, which warms my heart to serve them with compassion and understanding. When I visited Tokyo in March 2023, I increasingly noticed the need for hope in my personal connections with the locals. On my return trip this summer in 2025 I hope to walk alongside people during their most vulnerable moments. I seek to provide them with a listening ear and a safe space where they can process their emotions and discover the hope and healing that only Christ offers. Through connection, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal, my goal is to guide others into a deeper relationship with God and His community, offering the same love and grace that God has so generously shown me. Would you pray for me and consider partnering with me in this journey?
