In the fall of 2024, we learned that the UK, formerly a sender of missionaries and proponent of the Gospel, is now thoroughly post-Christian. In fact, only about 3% of the UK are evangelical Christians involved in a church, and learning this broke our hearts. We were immediately interested in being part of bringing the good news of Christ to the UK. After much prayer and discussion, we felt that God was giving us the green light, sending us to the UK to learn and to teach the Word.

Our mission is to go to England and build up disciples in a local church. We are going to learn from the church leaders, and we are going to attend schooling in how to minister better (Jason with a Master’s in Theology and Tirza with a Certificate in Biblical Counseling). We will be especially focusing on training up young UK men and women in how to be Christlike and rightly handle the Word of God even as we are growing ourselves.

When we leave the UK after two years we will have shared the Gospel with many who have never heard it, we will have trained up the church in the Scriptures, we will have raised up young leaders to replace us as we leave, and we will return to the US greatly matured and equipped for future ministry.
