Dear Converge Northeast Family,

As I reflect on the past two months in this role, my heart is full of gratitude—for each of you, for the work God is doing in our region, and for the opportunities ahead. The recent Advance Conference was a true highlight. With more attendees than ever before, we experienced powerful teaching, meaningful fellowship, and inspiring speakers who equipped and encouraged us for the mission. It was a joy for me to witness our region coming together and to continue meeting so many of you personally. Thank you for making the time to be part of it and for contributing to the vibrant spirit that defines Converge Northeast.

Looking Ahead: A Season of Giving
As we approach Thanksgiving, I’m reminded of how richly blessed we are—and how important it is to respond to those blessings with generosity. Next week, you’ll receive a special Giving Tuesday invitation. This year, our focus is on fueling church planting initiatives that bring the gospel to new communities. Church planting remains one of the most effective ways to reach people for Christ, and with your partnership, we can expand that impact. I invite you to prayerfully consider how God might lead you to invest in this kingdom work.

A Word on Gratefulness
As we enter the holiday season, let’s reflect on the profound connection between gratefulness and boldness in our faith. In Luke 17, Jesus heals ten lepers, but only one returns to thank Him—and that grateful heart is marked by a bold, public expression of faith. Gratitude is not just polite acknowledgment; it’s a transformative posture that aligns us with Jesus’ heart.

When we remember God’s faithfulness, we find courage to face challenges and step into bold obedience. A heart rooted in thankfulness doesn’t shrink back but presses forward, confident in the One who goes before us. As followers of Christ, may we be known for our gratitude—deep, unwavering, and overflowing.

This season let’s pause to consider all God has done and respond with hearts full of thankfulness and hands open to give. Together, let’s embody the boldness that flows from gratitude and live in a way that points others to Him.
