Pine Lake Camps was founded in 1956. The camp sits on 49 acres in Eldora, Iowa and is a testimony to God’s wonderful creation. The camp is blessed to border Pine Lake State Park, with its 50 acre lower and 69 acre upper lakes. Throughout the spring, summer, fall, and winter the camp holds camps and retreats to provide rest, encouragement and strength to those who attend. Pine Lake serves men, women, missionaries, family reunions, pastors, youth groups, and many others. The groups enjoy top notch meals, activities such as zip lining, low ropes course, rifle range, canoeing and kayaking, tubing in the winter, and whatever activity is needed. The love of Christ is definitely felt through the interactions and conversations with staff.

Pine Lake Camps’ facilities , combined with the activities, staff, and location, provide the best camping environment in the state. Each building is uniquely designed so that guests experience a rustic setting while having many amenities from home. The variety of lodging attracts groups from those who prefer the hotel style rooms in Parr Lodge to those who like the starlit skies with no electricity.

Each year many volunteers serve at Pine Lake Camps. They range in age from junior high students to retirees. Pine Lake Camps exist because of the support and financial contributions of thousands of people. From the tireless efforts of the camp’s founders in the mid 1950’s, to the camp counselors serving every summer, this is a meeting place with God that has been built by God’s people.

A few notes that people have shared from this past summer:

I want to thank you for all you do for us a camp. Thank you for the food, games, music, chapel, swimming, and other things, Continue to do the good work and encourage campers and guide us towards a life that is Christ like. Thank you very much.

There are never words to express how much it means to me to be a part of the ministry at Pine Lake Camps. It is the most precious honor that our Heavenly Father gives me. Thank you for inviting me to be a speaker and thank you for trusting me with HIS WORD to our campers. I love Pine Lake and I love being there at my mountain top!
Speaker

We enjoyed our time at Pine Lake Camps. It was a great weekend with family, the worship was amazing, and the speaker was moving, emotional, and life changing. We can't wait to come back next year for family camp!
