Haitian pastors and wives retreat

Converge Haitian pastors

Fourteen Haitian pastors and their wives met in Trumball, Conn., March 7-8 for fellowship, worship and peer training. The major discussion topics included church growth, ministry to the next generation, finances, leadership development and the role of the pastor’s wife. Converge Worldwide’s HMET (Haitian Ministry Expansion Team) led the meeting, through the Intercultural Ministries office. Pastors Willie Jean-Pierre and Phil Phillips led the discussions. In addition, Doug Fagerstrom, Brent and Lori Allen and Ron Larson participated in the conversations.

Future ministry training forums and workshops are scheduled over the next year, beginning in June. This gathering was the second Haitian Pastors’ Retreat, following the first retreat in Converge Southeast last fall.
