Jenny grew up in a Christian family and made a clear commitment to Christ in grade 5 with the help of Aileen Sabido—now one of her co-missionaries in Cambodia. After graduating from high school Jenny completed a degree in Computer Technology but felt empty just doing work in an office. Her long-time desire to serve the Lord led her to further studies in Bible college and at Cebu Graduate School of Theology. She also completed a one-year internship among a M*slim people group. In 2015 Jenny joined Bethlehem Star of Peace's (BSOP) Team Cambodia. She is now articulate in Khmer language and is a proven leader in ministry as well as among her BSOP team members.
Human trafficking has been identified as a major problem in Cambodia. Although efforts are being made to stop it, trafficking is still rampant in modern Cambodia. Jenny directs a new half-way home that is helping restore and reintegrate back into society women and girls who have been trafficked and abused. Besides her planning and administrative roles, she disciples the Cambodian staff of the home as well as the residents.
