Capital campaigns

Walking beside you and your church through the capital campaign process.

Capital Campaigns can be overwhelming and even scary for churches to embark on.

“We’ve never done something like this before.”
“Will people want to participate in the campaign?”
“What will happen to our general fund giving?”
“Will this be too much work?”

Maybe you’ve said some of these same things. We want you to know that you’re not alone. Converge MidAmerica is here to walk through this process with you. We’ve done this before, and we know it can be done. We will walk through this together.

We also want you to know that the tasks in a campaign are meant to be shared among many people. The more people who participate in making the capital campaign happen, the more ownership you will experience within your congregation. Our desire is that up to 50% of your congregation will be involved in the campaign process.

Finally, we believe that prayer is a critical piece of this entire process. God will answer your prayers for his presence, his wisdom and his blessing along the way.

Feeling any better? You will, we promise. Capital campaigns are as much a discipleship process as it is a money raising venture. Our prayer for you and your church is that you will see God’s purposes for your church and community in a greater way, and that your people will grow in their knowledge and love for our Savior Jesus.

We provide you with:

  • Tools to help you evaluate the viability of a capital campaign
  • Coaching throughout the entire campaign including the very critical follow-up stage
  • An experienced team who understands the process

We also help your church gain a better understanding of the vision of Converge MidAmerica by partnering with your church in seeing more churches planted through a 10% Kingdom gift towards church planting.

We offer our services free of charge to our member churches. Most capital campaign companies charge thousands of dollars. We have already helped Converge churches raise millions of dollars in campaign gifts. More importantly, we have seen several of our churches catch a renewed vision for God’s work in their church and community.

Start the journey

We would love to join you, and be amazed together by our God, who wants to do “Far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,” (Eph. 3:20).

My relationship with Converge MidAmerica has been life-giving. They have empowered our church to strive towards being a healthy, biblically functioning body that is not only impacting our community, but linking arms with other churches to start and strengthen churches.
